Vic Clay Joins Family Music Group

Nashville, TN Les Butler of Family Music Group and Butler Music Group is pleased to announce the addition of award-winning Producer, Vic Clay to work with Les in the new Family Music Group “Quartets” Label.  Butler states, “I would not be in this industry and I certainly wouldn’t be producing records if not for my friend and mentor, Vic Clay.  He took me under his wing in the 70s and 80s.  He has forgotten more than I know when it comes to producing great quartet records!”  Clay states, “I’m excited to be working with my long-time friend, Les Butler.  I’ve been blessed to work with some of the best quartets in the history of Southern Gospel music.  And I’m looking forward to working with the next generation of great quartets.”

Butler states, “speaking of one of the best new quartets in the business today, in my opinion, it is the GloryWay Quartet from Ohio.  We are excited that GloryWay will be the first quartet signed to our new FMG Quartets label and the first production with Vic and myself at the helm.  Last year they won the Diamond Award as the best new quartet in Gospel Music and I believe the fans got it right!”

Justin Crank of GloryWay states, “this is a dream come true.  We are already excited to head into the studio with Les.  But, when he said we were adding Vic Clay to our production, we were at a loss for words.  We are huge fans of Vic and the albums he produced for the Cathedral Quartet!”
